...with Dyke House School’s Geography Department. After all, how can Geography be studied entirely in the classroom? At Dyke House School, the great outdoors is in many ways our laboratory, a place for pupils to study real life issues in real life locations and to test out hypotheses in the real world.

 Year 10 Go MADD!

Make a Difference Day (or MADD for short)… Dyke House School has been doing this major Citizenship event for many years now and it has become an annual fixture when on one day in October, Year 10 pupils really do have the chance to ‘make a difference’ by volunteering to work in the community.

Students Score A Learning Hat-trick At Local Football Club

Once again, a group of fifteen Year 8 pupils from Dyke House School have begun to ‘Play for Success’ at Hartlepool United Football Club. This 10 week programme of Out of School Learning is based at the Pools Study Support Centre in Victoria Park, the home of Hartlepool United.
