The Dyke House Sports and Technology College Christmas Concert took place on Monday 14th December 2009. Pupils from across all five year groups took part.
Year 10 recently took part in the 'Our Compact Partners' event. The aim of this event is for pupils to find out more about local companies and organisations and to consider the changing nature of work and employment.
Dyke House Sports and Technology College took the honours in an annual awards scheme celebrating the use of ICT and technology excellence. The school was proud to be named as the region's top school when it comes to the use of technology at Becta's ICT Excellence Awards 2009.
On November 9th 2009 Dyke House Sports and Technology College launched it Joint status. Previously Dyke House was a Technology specialist College. Work was shown exhibited from both Specialisms with a whole school display incorporated in the event. The exhibition presentation was that of a Design show, it showcased practical and written work from P.E and Technology students. The exhibition was professionally displayed and many of the visitors commented on how this gave a real feel for the school and the work that goes on at Dyke House.
