2010 will be a special year for Hartlepool with The Tall Ships race making a return to our shores. The race planned for 2010 should hold very special memories for two of Dyke House School pupils.
Year 8 pupils Katie-Claire Braham and Michael Burford volunteered to represent the views of Hartlepool school pupils on how young people in Hartlepool can be involved in the event. By attending the Tall Ships Forum and expressing their ideas, Katie and Michael are able to help formulate plans for Hartlepool’s biggest ever event.
